Yes, it's possible.  You can write a plugin that adds new console
commands, changes the prompt, and so on.  There is an example plugin
included with the distribution that shows how to add commands.
Modifying the prompt should be possible as well.  Take a look at the
documentation included on the website and let us know if you have any
questions.
